thaicom 5 satellite

Hi,
I like to get this satellite's channels from u.s,
Thaicom 5 at 78.5°E - LyngSat

Is it possible? let me know which receiver and dish I should get.

I'm not showing that as being visible from North or South America.

datacom is right. It's not visible from North or South America. It's too far below the horizon. Only way to get the satellite is to move to the eastern hemisphere.

yes... you can not receive Thaicom 5.
