Yes, Morocco is the place where all kind of satellites signals fall : Arabsat, Nilesat, most of the Eutlsat fleet, Astra,Russian satellites, hispasat....
A friend of mine just returned from Morocco and told me that he installed a 120 cm dish facing the hot birds satellites and was able to get 700 fta channels!! Just before coming to the States I had an anlogue system with a 110 cm dish and was able to get more tahn 100 channels. I miss the French channels, RAI, and the GERMAN ones :wink:
But, we still lucky because at least we have free channels. A lot of people here don't know about fta or think is illegal :shock: also there is no advertisement for fta, it's all about Direct TV or Dishnet. but some schools and colleges are starting to use the fta signal.
The other day I was visiting a college near DC and I saw Abu Dhabi in one of the big screen television they have at the cafteria.

oh yeah
i left morocco on 2002.....
i remmbre i had an analog digital reciver with 4 slot for all diffrent (cryptage) and harddisk for less than 400 dollars and of course it come with a 120cm dish and lnb
what was new with the digital in morocco
we could get the TPS and CANAL SATELLITE over 200 french channel....
i belive i had more than 10 MTV (MUSIC) LIKE 4 VH1.......
OTHER peoples asked for other package from germany or england likes the sky package and it just add more 100 and 100 of channel......
hehehe but 99% used hacked card to get all those channel for 3 to 5 dollars to load or update your card.....
