Kuwait TV & how to find channels manually!

I just installed my satellite dish last night, but it seems that Kuwait TV is missing, according to the list of the available Arabic channels from sadoun.com. Is the channel not available anymore? or, if it still exists, how can I find it?!

Fortec Star Lifetime

Another question. Can I add a 2nd LNB, to get more channels?! I want to get GolTV in English, if possible!!

Thanks a lot.

Kuwait -and Morocco- are on a transponder that has frequency 11990(V) SR 22.000 Satellite T5/Ku.
see first if you already have this transponder and rescan. Chances are it is there
If not you can manually write it using the above figures then scan it. you did not mention if you are getting other stations. There is a whole bunch of them at 12145.
The menu is easy to follow and very similar to computer menues.
I doubt if a second LNB can "squeez" more stations as the antenna is pointed at T-5 at 97 West. Is your antenna motorized?
The one and only menu botton that you should not use is the Factory Settings. It erases all and returns the set to its new state when you received it.
Good luck

Thanks a lot, satamat, for your reply.
I've tried what you told me to do, and I found the 2 channels, but, bad quality, no picture at all.
I get Oman, Saudi, Qatar, Alaalam TV, Yemen, Syria, Lybia, Abu Dhabi Sports, Sharjah, Tunisia. These are the ones I can remember now; the Arabic channels..

Also, how can I watch GolTV?! It's one of the channels listed, but can't be viewed. Is there a way to subscribe?!

Thanks, again.

I just tried the transponder satamat posted, and I get a strong signal with good pictures.

700 Horizon 865/866
702 Kuwait 320/321
704 BTV World 544/545
705 Morocco 272/273
710 SRTV 560/561

Plus a few scrambled channels/radio stations.

Make sure that your Video/Audio PIDs agree with the above. If they don't, delete the channel and re-scan. Also, make sure your polarity is OK. THere is a transponder with similar parameters on horizontal polarity.

? Where do you see GOLTV listed? I know one version of it is on Dishnet. I don't see it listed on IA5.

Hi again
Try rotating the lnb very little at a time
use a cell phone and have someone watch the signal on that particular station. You may be able to get 10-20% more signal that way.
I have done it with Canal Algire when I changed my antenna. Good luck
