Dish size makes the difference

I just finished replacing the old Direct TV dish antenna that I used to try FTA with a Fortec Star 90 cm. dish.
The size of the dish made all the difference. In fact the difference between the Sadoun Dual 0.4 (that came with it)and the Fortec Dual 0.3 LNB's is not that great. It is the surface area of the dish!.. Now I get 75 qualty on some transponders.
Any thoughts or advise regarding WEAK HORIZONTAL channels compared to VERTICAL channels?

Try rotating the LNB and also adjust the focal distance. If that doesn't make any difference then try tweaking the dish elevation and/or azimuth just a bit.

Thank you for the hint. Today we had break from the rain so naturally I was on the roof again. A couple of extra elevation degrees did the trick. Canal Algire Signal Quality increased from 15 to 45. My son came from work and commented "you have to join Satellite anonymous!. But I like Antenna adjusting . It is a lot of fun.

I Will gladly travel from New York and adjust the couple of dishes as long as you pay for the plane ticket You pay for the plane ticket!
Seriously a lot can be done to make ajustment a fun process. For instance I marked the "shadow" of the old Dish LNB arm by running a plum line at its begining and end and connecting the two points creating a line on the roof. When I put the new dish I just had to align the new dish LNB arm with the line drawn on the roof.
This saved me a lot of effort trying to get the rough direction of the dish. The satellite was "caught" much easier.
