The way it looks like, Oman TV is no longer on IA5.
But Dubai TV is here.

Dubai TV is a welcome return. It used to be on IA5 before. Do you also see Dubai SPORTS, Dubai Business? Those used to be on IA5 as well.
Wow, so many new FTA channels on IA5 in the last two days.
BTW, AMC4 will host a whole lot of new FTA channels in the near future to compete with IA5. This is from a reliable source

Hi..
How do you know that Oman TV is no longer on this tp.. and that Dubai TV is?
and how do you know (the other guy) that Oman TV is still on?
Unfortunatly i don't speak that language.. . but the logo on Oman TV channel (EPG name by the way is still Oman TV for it) is not the same as at Oman TV web site:
http://www.oman-tv.gov.om/tveng/default.asp
Or did they announce it that it's Dubai TV now?
I guess i should try and locate the logo for Dubai TV
Oh ya.. he is correct i think.. The logo now is of Dubai TV:
This logo is on Oman TV channel now:
http://www.lyngsat-address.com/df/Dubai-TV.html
bigger logo:
http://www.lyngsat-logo.com/logo/tv/dd/dubai_tv.jpg (Logo)
By the way .. same situation with Mauritania TV...
EPG name is still Abu Dhabi TV.. but the content and the logo is of Mauritania TV
Thanks for the info Almahari!

So there is less confusion for now (until maybe EPG names for those are changed to the content on TV) .. - here are entries for those for now.. including PIDs and SIDs:
12145 - V - 22000 Video FTA Abu Dhabi TV (EPG name) / Mauritania TV 2026 2036 2026 sid=806 TV de Mauritanie (Mauritania) (ARA) www.tvm.mr , www.lyngsat-address.com/tt/TV-de-Mauritanie.html , www.tvm.mr/images/logo.gif ( Logo - that is the actual Logo on TV currently .. and Not the one that is shown on this Lyngsat's link: www.lyngsat-address.com/tt/TV-de-Mauritanie.html )
12145 - V - 22000 Video FTA Oman TV (EPG name) / Dubai TV 2028 2038 2028 sid=808 Dubai TV (Un. Arab Emirates) (ARA) www.dubaitv.ae , www.lyngsat-address.com/df/Dubai-TV.html , www.lyngsat-logo.com/logo/tv/dd/dubai_tv.jpg (Logo)
By the way.. - Ababic speaking people .. the Radio station with EPG name "Oman radio":
12145 - V - 22000 Radio FTA Oman radio 0 2110 2110 sid=830 Radio Sultanate of Oman (ARA) ---- Is it still broadcasting the content of Oman Radio? .. Or is it now maybe some Dubai Radio content on it?
Thanks

Nope.. it's gone..
No more Oman TV
Only EPG name is remaining Oman TV .. but the content is being uplinked to it now - the content of Dubai TV..
More likely they will change EPG names accordingly soon for those 2 - Dubai TV and Mauritania TV .. You ll see
I bet sooner than later
For now.. i provided above the exact info for those channels..
How about that Oman Radio?
You think it is still Oman Radio playing.. or maybe now Dubai Radio is on at that Oman Radio as well?

Oman TV does exist. Go east young man go east. Not sure which sat but remember passing by it on the 61 and down sats. My dish will only go down to 30 and while I do have both C and Ku for DVB MPEG2 I am confident it was Ku. So somewhere between 30 and 61 you should find it on the Ku side of life. I can actually locate it next time I am home if you guys would like.
Great news Sadoun! Am really looking forward to the additional channels. Do you know C or Ku or both?
Steve

LOL...
If you were talking to me - I only play with FTA KU over at IA5 .. currently anyhow...
And somehow i think alhamari was refering to IA5 as well (when he said above: "I could not find Oman TV, I have lifestar receiver how can I get Oman TV back. Any help is highly appreciated?"
After all, he was refering to IA5 in his first post of this thread...
So basically at IA5's KU.. - Oman TV is gone... at present time anyhow
for that other KU, between 30 and 61 you said.. - one would need to have a motorized setup capability more than likely.. or have a dish pointed to exactly where Oman TV is located.. (if it is still there that is)
And by the way - NOT everyone can get from 30 to 61 anyhow
Lemme check what Lyngsat says about Oman TV:
hmm.. Lyngsat is down currently.. for me anyhow... ( my luck )
But over at KingOfSat, Flysat, etc - the only Oman TV at KU i was able to find at "W" was:
Nilesat 101 (7.0W) - 11823.00 V - DVB-S - 27500 -- Beam: Egypt (V) ---Oman TV
Lemme see Lyngsat again: .. Nope.. it's NOT openning up currently .. but check here later:

I will be home Thursday night and will look for it then. It may be mislabeled in the EPG also. Of course perhaps my mind is going but I was pretty confident I did see it come up when doing blind scans to update my channel list. There is a sat in the Atlantic section at lyngsat that has a tp with a group of Arabic language channels and I am thinking that may be the one I seen it on.
I am aware not everyone can get down to 30 just as I can not get to 177 Just trying to offer a bit of help in locating the channel. The reason the channel hit me when I was scanning was I remembered this thread title from last week.

OK.. lyngsat is up.. again .. and he lists there Oman TV at following satellites (IA5 is NOT one of them any longer, understandably so) :
Optus B3
AsiaSat 3S
Arabsat 2B
Badr C
Badr 3
Hot Bird 7A
Nilesat 101
and i checked all of them there ..and ONLY "Nilesat 101" is at 7.0°W .. the rest are "East" (E)
Ya.. Thanks.. when you get there on Thursday - you check...
The channel being "mislabel" (aka. Wrong EPG name) as well.. - makes sense of course
But unless It's somewhere that is NOT listed at Lyngsat and other places.. then more likely It's NOT there phisically .. EPG name(s) ONLY, unfortunatly can't count
Thanks

Just to add, even if it existed at the time of that scan (as it DID exist at IA5 as well.. just recently) - maybe now it's gone as well.. or substituted by some other (even if epg name for now still says Oman TV)
