Here you go. System S-1 on this page: http://sadoun.com/Sat/Order/Satellit...TA-Systems.htm

The Fortec Classic is one of the best receivers on the market in terms of quality, ease of use, and features.

Have fun wa ahlan wa sahlan.

Thank you for your help, that satellite looks nice and also cheap. But i looked at the list of channels and it dosnt have much. It dosnt have much such as Al Jazeera, Al Manar, etc. It only have about 23 channels. Now is there an upgrade of that version, or a tottaly newer/other staellite out there that gets ALL/MOST arabic middle eastern channles, at any price im willing to spend a lot if it has a lot. Also if they contain DVR's , im looking at those to, with the newer technology.

Thanks
Salam

Al Jazeera, etc - and some others.. DISH Network has them..

But they are NOT free over at their platform.. they are Subscription channels... You would have to get DISH Network receiver.. subscribe, etc, etc - and pay them...

As to DVRs.. DISH Network has them.. - and you might even get those for FREE from them.. depending on the deal / package you would subscribe from them..

The deal might involve American channels as well to subscribe.. in addition to Arabic ones... - to be able to get those FREE DVRs that is...

Ok im talking about free over the air satellites. Dish network you have to pay monthly, i dont want that. What im looking for is a satellite system that gets all the free to air channles possible.

Just like Darkman explained above, Al Jazeera is not free to air in the USA. You will need to subscribe to it using Dish Network receivers.

Al Manar is free to air on Amazonas 61.5W but you will need a motorized FTA system for that. There is another Arabic movie channel on Amazonas as well, in addition to a Kung Fu and some Spanish channels.

any of the fortec receivers sadoun has will pull in the fta channels. the new fortec mercury 11 receiver look's real good. also would recommend the fortec 90cm dish with a stab 100 motor.

the difference between s1 and m1 is that the s1 is statonary only gets 1 sat the m1 is motorized will get all sats.they all will receive all fta arabic channels. you will also need rg6 cable and connectors for install. most of the arabic channels are on IA5.
