2M TV. PLEASE HELP

This is very strange..
I can get everything on my new FTA receiver but 2M MAROC..
I get the 2M radio only but not TV. #-o
ALL OTHER CHANELS including Kuwait which is on the same TP and frequency I can get it with very hig signal and quality. 11991 V

The funny thing is when I put my freind's box on my house I can get 2M.

Any one has any hints?

Still nothing I changed the frequency from 11991 to 11990 V . I got all other channels on this transporder even $$$ ones but 2M TV just the 2Mradio

You might need to enter the channel manually rather than doing a scan. What kind of receiver is it? I have seen receivers that do not pick up a certain channel during a scan but will receive it after you enter the channel manually; Satcruiser does this sometimes.

I have a Cooltec.
I tried entering the chanel manually. Nothing just getting the the Radio . WEIRD EH!!

I am in toronto. My old FTA receiver works fine and I can get 2M with it. I tried my freind's panset and it's fine too.

I took my cooltec ( new receiver) to my freind's house and the same problem. EVERYTHING but 2M TV ....WEIRDDDDDDDDDD.
Kuwait Tv is on the same TP and I can get it along wirh 2M radio. BUT NO 2MTV . Actuall it's the only one missing outof everything.

Are you sure that the receiver isn't really getting M2 but calling it some other name? I have seen some receivers do this; they will call the channel "356" or some other weird name rather than the real name.

Thanks Bobkat. I thought of this too. I went over all these chanlels one after the other. still nothing.

I even input 2M particulars ( VPID, etc ) NOThing just the radio. This thing is driving me nuts.

This is a bug in Cooltec and /coolsat systems. The only way to get this channel is to do the following.

Menu>> Channels>> Edit Channels. Select a channel that you do not need that is on the same transponder as 2M and change its PID to 2M PID. Exit and save. This channel will change to 2M. You also need to change the name.

It looks like you have tried every thing comes to my mind about getting the channels except that you may have to erase all channels and do a new scan for everything. try this procedure and see if you will be able to get M2 channel (taking in consideration that could be with different name).

OK guys I am having the same problem!!! No 2M on mine either.
I am using a Fortec Classic receiver. I also noticed Saudi TV and some other channels are missing. Question: I see 2 97 satelite listed, the 97W /Ku and the 97W C. I get nothing coming from the second one. Is that expected or it that the one that has the channels I am missing ?

Moderator pls help, I tried so much but in vain.
Let's focus on 2M that is the most important!

97w c is for c band if you have'nt got a 6 foot dish and c band lnb you wont get it the channels you are trying to get are ku. so you should be able to get them. :mozilla_smile:

I scanned with all different frequency choices and still nada!

Hi Hicham, Where are u located?
You should be able to get Saudi and 2M, al maghribiya etc.. ok the 97 W KU band.

2M is on the same transponder as Kuwait. Frequency 11991 V. on 22000.

I am having a slight sound issue with 2M, Saudi TV1, and a couple other channels. The picture is very good, the sound is good but sometimes the sound drops for a second the equivalent of 1 word.

Can anyone help or direct in the right direction.

Check the signal strength and quality for that transponder. Adjust dish if necessary to get maximum signal quality.
