There is a call-in program on PLSTN that is mostly in English. I have regularly caught it on weekdays on T5 between 1800 and 2000 Eastern Time.
I'm no idiot, I understand that network television in the US is full of propaganda, but some of the music video montages on the Arabic channels are pure stereotypical "evil propaganda".
This morning, I turned on...damn, I forget the channel...and there was a 5-minute long video compilation with stress-filled music booming. The video included the twin towers collapsing, various word plays "Blood for Oil", "Oil for Blood", and the most interesting...the word USA scrolls past the screen and then zooms in on the "A"...the view then pulls back to reveal the word WAR! Of course, the nastiest part of this was the occassional mixing in of old footage of Adolf Hitler...
Yesterday, on Palestinian TV, there was a music video with various clips and still photos of Arafat - some quite old! It wasn't like the terror-laden propaganda I saw on the other station this morning, but it made me laugh.
I need to find out when English programming runs on Palestinian TV. My first night with FTA, I saw a 15-minute long English segment on Palestinian TV, but I cannot remember when it aired.

Yes, the daily English language news.
It is usually on each night at 10 pm EST.
