I'm missing some T5 channels

I have the fortec star FTA dish pointing to T5.
I don't know why but I am missing some european channels, e.g.
CNL(russia), HIC TV(Croation), WRN Francais,
can some body tell me what is goin in , I"m in Minnesota.

I really have no idea what "trasponder" means.
what is it and what do I have to do with it

a transponder is basically a frequency with a group of channels assigned to it. IA5 satellite has about 30-40 transponders i think.

Does you receiver have blind search? If it does, blind search the sat and you will find all FTA channels.

I really appreciate your help but I am not so good about these satllites.

what is "transponders" and how are they used?

I am not getting all the FTA channels on T5. Can you please help me
