Dreambox: getting FTA arabic channels

Hello,

Please help me with this problem I am getting crazy.

I have a dreambox 500s receiver, with a fortecstar 33" dish.
the signal I am getting is strong (the installation was done
by a professional), but when I scan the satellite to get the
list of channels it gives:
0 new channel detected
0 transporder detected ...

I am not able to get any channel,

I am in Gaithersburg, MD, in USA, and I am looking for FTA Arabic channels.
On www.lyngsat.com, it is shown that Globecast is the provider of these
channels (tp3, tp5, tp25, ...).

Please tell me if I need any installation or payment from Globecast to be
able to get these channels. Or do I absolutely need a globecast receiver.

Please tell me how you are doing to get Arabic Channels in USA.

Thank you for your help.
Best regards,

well

Just reassure that you are following the right aiming satellite which is T5.
if you go the sadoun home page, under help with installation, you will be able to find the the azimuth, elavation, and the LNB adjustment. That will help you get a signal from the right satellite

Best if you order our Fortec Star ULTRA 2005 model: http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Order/Rece...-Receivers.htm

It is easy to use and has proven itself in the market.
