Canal Algerie on 12146 V on T5?

From the web site of Canal Algeria, it says that the channel is on tp 12146 V, on T5.
www.canalalgerie.dz/chaine/recevoir.php

I can't receive this channel on this transponder, neither on the very weak tp 11874 H where it is supposed to be.
Does somebody can receive it on 12146 V?
Or maybe, is it the new tp where Canal Algérie will be in a near future?

I beleive it has been up there for a while. I haven't checked that transponder lately, but I get no less than 65% quality on IA5 (T5) and some transponders I get 85%+ quality.

I think it is not a quality question because I am able to receive all the others channels from tp 12146 V, but not Canal Algérie....
Someone can confirm that Canal Algerie is on tp 12146 V?

Here is the deal. Info that you have is incorrect/outdated. The correct transponder is:

11874 H
22000 SR
1260/1220/1260

Check http://www.lyngsat.com/ia5.html when your not sure I just checked it out and I am receiving a strong signal (89% signal strength 82% quality) and it is free to air.

Ok...Then, here, 40 km south of Quebec City, I can assume that my 30 inches dish is not enough large to receive correctly that tp 11874 H....

If I change my 90 cm dish for a 1 meter dish, do I have a chance to receive the tp 11874 H, or do I have to go bigger like 1,10m or 1,20m?

I honestly think that 90cm dish should be big enough. Coverage map indicated that EIRP is 46 dBW for Quebec and 90cm should be sufficient. That transponder doesn't seem to be any stronger/weaker than other transponders for me. Sorry I can't be more help. Maybe someone around here closer to you can offer a better advice.

Canal Algerie is still in the same Transponder 11874 H
tp 8 but it airing in Digital now so the picture is better and the signal is good.
I guess you need to adjust a little bit your LNB.
Do this and let me know. I had the same problem but these 3 days the signal is better than 12146 V tp 25 which indeed not only they have it listed in their site they are promoting it as digital.
Good Luck

You're right, last days Canal Algerie is significantly better than before

After a snowstorm here yestersday, I had to brush the dish and LNB, and then, by miracle, Canal Algerie and others channels on 11874 H tp are back but with a weak quality signal under 10% and most of the time between 3-6 %. Also the quality signal of the 11790 V tp that was 1-3% is now 18-20%...
Is this suggest that the LNB is not properly adjusted?

Also, on the Lyngsat site www.lyngsat.com/ia5.html , the frequency of the tp is 11874 H, but on the Satcodx site http://satcodx7.com/2630/eng/ , the frequency shown is 11872 H...Which one of these two frequencies has the strongest signal for you ?

I moved the LNB as far as I can from the dish (I also try to twist it a little bit) and this give me between 5 And 12 % more quality on each tp on IA5 , but only 0-1% quality on 11874 H now at least I have a picture of Canal Algerie but picture and sound often broked up because of the poor quality signal...

If you cannot get TP 11874, maybe a lower noise figure lnb can help.
