Need help with the tronsponder

I found some information on a manual ( Edit Menu: Satellite/ TP edit) and I tried couple things on my receiver but was not able to do that,
On the left site: tp
telstart 5 add
channels store

on the right side edit TP with Frequency, Polarity, S/R and FEC that have different numbers from the one I am supposed to enter.

My problem, Do I need to change the info on the tronsponder already existing or do I need to add a new tronsponder and enter the info on the left which I did and went to look for the channels but still did not see the channels that I am missing??
The choices on the EDIT TP are add, delete, rename and sort.

I am very confused to how to enter this data on my existing tronsponder and by the way how do I scan for tronsponder for channels?
My receiver is Fortec DVB 786NA
Thanks for your help

You can ADD another transponder and enter the parameters as given on www.lyngsat.com for IA5. I'm not sure how to scan for new channels on that receiver but it should be fairly menu driven -- most receivers are.
