You might have to enter the transponder data manually and scan that transponder. What satellite are you pointing at (I guess IA5) and what type of receiver do you have?

For as much as I like to help out our members I simply do not have time to answer Private Messages or emails asking about setup and other general issues. Please post your questions in the forums and we will try to help you out. Thanks.
I have fortec dvb 786NA and the only satttelite is programmed with this dish is telstar 5. I did search for other channels for channels but did not get far. I ma missing all bunch of channels like el manar, oman tv, abu dhabi, dubai sport, qatar and saudi. Any help???
Thanks
OK, Telstar 5 and IA 5 are the same satellite, they just renamed it.
Most of the channels you want are on the 12,146 MHz transponder.
You will need to enter this data on a new transponder (manual for the receiver will tell you how to do this):
frequency = 12,146 MHz
polarity = vertical
symbol rate = 22,000 ksps
Then do a scan of just this new transponder and the channels will come in for you.

Here are the channels available on this satellite; the ones in yellow with a little "F" icon are free to air and available with your receiver.
