More Arabic channels on Hispasat 1C (30 west)
If you are looking for more Arabic channels, Hispasat 1C (30 W) has a few more channels availble, including some not available on Telstar 5.
This satellite is reachable from the East part of the USA.
http://www.lyngsat.com/hispa1c.html
BTW www.lyngsat.com is a nice website to check what is available on satellite.

abas18. I am in Illinois and Hispasat comes in very strong. I don't have any interest in these channels, but Hispasat ca be a fun satellite to kee na eye on.
One thing to keep in mind is that these channels are in PAL and the picture will appear a little cut of and somethimes jumpy because of a different frame rate.

Just get another DISH/LNBF (see items 1 and 10 here) and a 2-way DiSEqc switch to connect your two dishes to the receiver.
If you have anu further question, post them here =D>

Yes of course you can use your existing DISH. It is simple. Just go here and calculate the new Azimuth, Elevation, and LNBF Skew.
Move your dish in that direction. In your receiver, got to:
Setup>>Installation>>TP Configuration>>
Since you don't have HISPASAT, just scroll down to ADD and click OK
This will allow you to enter a new transponder frequency,Polarity, and Symbol rate.
Enter 12132 V 27500 (this is the transponder that has all the Arabic channels on Hispasat)
Now, adjust your dish slightly until you see the signal and quality show up.
Scan the satellite to load the channels.
Good luck.

You can enter 30 in the box under the satellite list. Hispasat is located at 30 degrees west.

I am still trying to get hispanic sat, and well honestly I don't know where to begin
this are my calculations
115.1 azimuth (to be honest I have no idea what this is, can any help me on this, or is there any tools i can use to find this out for my dish)
16.9 Elevation (I know this part)
-42.3 Poliriztion ( and I know this part)
30 West (a compass will help me locate this right??)
sorry I am not really good with math either, but i really want to get hispanic sat, i will really appreciate yourhelp
