In North America you can watch Free to Air (FTA) Arabic channels on Telstar 5

The list includes:

Telstar 5 satellite
1- Abu Dhabi TV
2- Al-Alam News Channel
3- Algerian TV
4- Al-Maghrabia
5- Dubai Business
6- Dubai EDTV
7- Dubai Sports
8- Jordan TV
9- Kuwait Space Channel
10-Lybia TV
11-Oman TV
12-Qatar TV
13-Saudi Channel
14-Sudan TV
15-Syria Satellite Channel
16-TV 7 Tunis
17-TV Orient
18-Yemen TV
19- Dandana tv
20- 2M Maroc
21- TV Orient
22- TAC

Also:
Al Quran Al Kareem Radio
Sanaa' Radio

All you need to watch these channels is an FTA MPEG2 DVB digital satellite receiver, 30" Dish or bigger, and a KU-band LNBF.

I lost a few of the channels on T5, such as Dubai tv and Dandana, after I rescanned the satellite Dandana came back but Dubai did not. Do you if it was moved or if it was scrambled or just diappeared? thanks for all the help. By the way I am using a Traxxis DBS 2500 ird.

the entire TP Dubai was on - disappeared / gone....

Al Sharjah is FTA on T5 now. Al Manar is FTA on HispaSat, Dubai are FTA on Atlantic Bird 2.
