Hi

I have tried to add this channel but I am getting a very low signal (20% or less) on TP 11.789 V -25.000 . I live in Arkansas and the whether is clear today. I have the standard FTA Sadoun Dish with FortecStar receiver. on other TPs (e.g. 11.991 I get about 60% signal strength and the picture is clear).

Any help with this problem is highly appreciated.

I have found the best size dish to use on Galaxy 25 is 90cm or larger.my 90cm receives the strong TP at 90% quality and the weak TP's at 70% quality.

you will get some signal but may not be enough to lock the TP others with the smaller dish has mention having the same problems with some Transponders maybe once they get the new bird up it will have more power .

The 31" dish should be good enough for most of the USA and you should be able to get that channel with it. I use a 31" and have no problem with it. If you live in the NE or NW of the USA, then a 36" is better.

Peace TV

Hi,

I have Viewsat Ultra receiver with 30" dish and a Universal Fortec LNB. I am located in zip code 72401.

I have G25 working fine except the TP that has PeaceTV (11789). On this TP, signal is 86, however Quality is not steady but pulsing from 0 to 23, while it is steady around 60 on other TPs.

I bought the system becuase I want to watch PeaceTV, now I got everything else except this channel! :-(

Any advices? Your help is highly appreciated.

Regards

Amer.

You don't have any trees in the way do you.

Your zip shows you are more south than I am and should be able to get where you are with a 31" dish. I use a 31" dish in N. VA. and get the station.

Sounds like you may need to tune the dish a bit more... Have you tried turning the LNB a bit for skew to increase signal?

Yes, the panic calls are starting to come in from Peace TV viewers losing their channel on G25.

Here are a couple of suggestions to help:

1- Get a motor and motorize your dish. That way you can move your dish to G18 to watch the channel again.

2- Realign your dish to G18. You will gain new channels in addition to Peace TV, but you will not be able to watch the rest of the channels on G25.

3- or Get a second dish and aim it at G18. Link the new and old dishes to one DiSEqC switch, and then to your receiver.

Which solution I WOULD USE? #1. But that is just me.
