Question Looking for Moroccan TV

I am looking for these channels (2M and Magribia) that I had before in my old receiver before switching to Pansat 3500.

In my old receiver the settings were as follow:

1. Channel1 was on 97.0 E at Telstar 5, I did look up the chanels in Lyngsat and it lists a bunch of Satellites:
Astra 1KR
Hot Bird 8
Atlantic Bird 3
Nilesat 101
NSS7 and Galaxy 25,

My question is how do I find these channels on my Pansat 3500, I did a blind scan, I don't see these Sat in my list? I am on the west coast.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Firstly Telstar 5 was changed to Intelsat Americas 5 (IA5) ..and then.. not that long ago, as stated above , IA5 changed to Galaxy 25 (G-25) .. - still at 97 West though

Doesn't really matter what it's called at your receiver i think..

I think you just have to be properly pointed .. and on the receiver all settings should be correct .. and all the proper transponders should be there too.. unless you can successfully blind scan the sat.

Question

Thanks, I will try to look for Galaxy 25 and report back. My dishes did not change, I still have the old receiver connected, if I switch back to the old receiver I can get 2M and Magribia, but when I switch to the Pansat, I can't find it.

How do I find Galaxy 25 if it's not there? Can you add it maually or do a Blind scan?

If you have a stationary dish looking at fixed position 97W, you don't need to rename anything, if you have a motor, look for any of these three: T5/IA5/G25, if none found, add a sat with position at 97 West, and do a blind scan
