You should consider a 95cm dish at minimum. A 120cm dish would be better.

TVPolonia, Toronto, Telstar 11

I am reading this thread and understanding that TVPolonia is FTA on Telstar 11? Would my thinking be correct that receiveing it in Toronto, Canada would be a possibility?

What equipment would i need?

My second question is regarding the receivers from sadoun which are equipped with smart card readers. Would I be able to purchase one like that and receive Globecast programming on Telstar 5 with subscription??? :?:

TVPolonia

I can get it in Florida, i know people in Texas see it too. so Toronto should be fine as well. You must have a bigger dish, I got 1 meter fot T11 but 90cm is fine. I have heard that Globecast would send you the card only if you get their equipment with their CAM number, so call them first.
http://www.globecastwtv.com/ good luck.

TV POlonia is Polish, and it is FTA on Telstar 11. On Telstar 5 it's subscription only. To find channels and satellites go to lyngsat.com

You might want to check your azim/elevation and LNBF skew first before you change the LNBF. Go here to check all of that http://sadoun.com/Sat/Installation/S...Calculator.htm

After you align your dish to the correct directions, if you still getting a weak signal, you could consider changing your LNBF (though no guarantees on getting the signal). Make sure your receiver can use a universal LNBF. Some receivers don't accept a universal LNBF only standard.

On a perfectly aligned dish I 've seen signal improvement of 5-8% when using a 0.5 db LNBF compared to a 0.6 db lnb.
