Euronews on Echo9/IA13

Euronews is listed in Lyngsat as FTA on Echo9/IA13 C-band 3900V. Is anyone here picking it up for free? Thanks.

If I am not mistaken, I believe you can find the audio to Euronews at 61.5W in the Ku band. The video is scrambled, but the audio comes in "san" and "eng" (english). Incidentally, I finally decided to install a home stereo system, the Sony 800Watt, which does an excellent job to decoding the AC3 for just $200, and the optical cable was $12.

good deal William Eng I got my Koss surround system several years ago does optical and coax cable for AC3 so i can run to differ FTA boxes through it with out changing the cables all the time just have to get a FTA box that passes AC3 for the c band system and we will be all set.

Is that the Durabrand model sts92? The description at walmart didn't say specifically if it had AC3 input.

Anyone know if the sts92 has line audio outputs so that it could be used as an external stand-alone ac3 decoder?

I'm not sure.If I can find the box it came in or find the model no.on the system I'll let you know.Maybe iceberg can remember what it is,because I think I read some posts awhile back that he had bought the same kind I have from walmart and that they were being replaced with one that didn't decode ac3.

it usually doesn't state it as ac3 in but use the term digital audio in.the phillps surround system that wal mart sales does the ac3 decode and it's only $98.
