Sports on FTA

I was wondering if any of you could tell me if I could possibly pick up football (soccer) on FTA from England, or anywhere in Europe. I just discovered this was even a possibility this morning, and havent done much research, so any help would be appreciated.

If you're far enough east, you might get Amazonas at 61.0 deg. I'm pretty sure there's a sports channel on 11972 V; it's not always there, but when it is, it has lots of soccer, Gaelic football, and rugby.

Also, if you're willing to install a second circular LNB, Gol TV on EchoStar 8 is in the clear with soccer.

amazonas shows setana sports from time to time you can get cricket, soccer.and rugby.

I checked Telstar 5 and 97W, and saw 3 different soccer games, but they were all mid-east ( Tunis, Abu-Dabi, and Kuwait ) . How important is it to you that they be European soccer ?
