American TV Here you could discuss what is available as FTA American channels on satellite. No discussion of hacking encrypted channels or know how related to that matter is allowed. Discuss only channels that have been listed publicly on lyngsat. Non-public FTA channels should be discussed in the New Finds forum only.

Galaxy 4R where did the fta's go?

Lyngsat list American Life TV network at tp5 freq 11800 . I get a strong 80% quality there but when I scan that tp I get nothing.
Lyngsat also list a bunch of fta music on that satellite but I get nada except my Traxis locks in on hughesnet thinking they're radio. Shucks! It was so easy to hit G4R.

unfortunatley that channel works under the Digicipher II system which is a proprietary format of Motorola. Our DVB FTA receivers cannot view digiII channels even if they're not encrypted.

Your receiver is DCII (motorola), right?
