Russian Channels in NY

I have read through and noted that Telstar 11 has some Russian channels, but when I check http://www.lyngsat.com/t11.html I find no listing of channels. What is up to date?

I'm looking into what to install for my mother-in-law whomk is coming to stay with me (eep!). Any recommendations as to systems and which channels/satellites?

there are plenty of Ruski channels on Echostar 121w and Echostar @ 61.5w.. but you'll have to sub to DishNet's service. Other than that, i don't know of any Russian FTA in N. America.

I think the only Russian-language FTA channels there are religious ones.
