Mpeg2, Hispasat SR-3320

Can anybody out there help me out? I'm presently tuned in to TVE on Hispasat 12052 Ghz but woulf like also to get the other channels available for North America. I tried changing the frequency in the Setup but this does not do the job.

What kind of receiver you are using?

What you would have to do is look at the transponder numbers and see how many transponders - frequencies you have for hispasat programmed in your receiver. After that you would have to create a new transponder and enter the frequency and symbol rate and polarization in the receiver according to lyngsat charts - be sure you only input the frequencies that are beamed in north america - but keep in mind that say for example there are 9 frequecies that you would like to program - you have to create a new transponder per frequency in your receiver - usually under installation - antena setup.

What kind of signal quality do you get on the 12052 frequency? From personal experience i can tell you that i do about 92 percent on horizontal polarization and about 88 on vertical polarization with elevation of 24.1 degrees on dish 90 cm .

PS. Why bother with TVE? Last time i checked it was encrypted - you should be able to get catalugna and a bunch of other channels though.
