NEW CHANNELS JOIN GLOBECAST WORLDTV PACKAGE

TV Romania and Hindi-Language Channel SBC Television are being added to US-based satellite provider GlobeCast WorldTV's Telstar 5 Direct-to-Home platform service.

GlobeCast's WorldTV platform on Telstar 5 is America's third largest DTH service, dedicated exclusively to delivering international programming, and now offers 50 television and radio channels from Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

TV Romania International is the public television channel of Romania which provides a Romanian perspective on current cultural, social, economic and political events. Broadcasting from Chicago, Hindi-language channel SBC Television delivers 24/7 a wide variety of programming originating from India as well as local programming about the South Asian community in America. Programs include family entertainment, movies, weekly series, documentaries, musical programs, talk shows, and in-depth coverage of local community news and events, as well as newscasts presented in Hindi with English subtitles.

Broadcasting 24 hours a day, the channel offers a selection of family entertainment, including movies, serials, news reports, sporting events, musical shows, documentaries on Albanians living worldwide, game shows, and talk shows such as "21 Direct" (a live show featuring popular celebrities or politicians) and "The Late Hour Show" (a live show focusing on Albanian Art and Culture) that allows viewers to call in and join discussions.

The service also includes the audio channel Radio 21, featuring live Albanian music and news reports.
