We have done some research and found many free to air channels in English language that are available in North America. We have looked at the KU band channels only since the majority of people can install a small dish system.

To watch all the channels available, we recommend a motorized system. The motor will turn the dish automatically when you select the channels.

I have one of those systems and it works great too. I performed all the work myself, which impressed me. I am able to pick up so many channels from Europe, Asia, Africa, and America and watches it more than my subscription television which I have on two sets. I found some local channels, but they are scrambled so I won't be able to view them.

The thing is that anyone can setup one using the help of the people here in the forum. I am living proof of that and other people in my neighborhood can't believe that you can get that many stations free. I love seeing the expressions on their face when I tell them that I this.
