Galaxy 11 question

Hello gang,

Could someone confirm that the following Russian programs get beamed from Galaxy 11 (RTN and Perviy kanal Vsemirnaya setj) .
I checked lyngsat web site and it says both programs encrypted. Is that still true?

I have ChannelMaster GainMaster dish that point at 91 (BEV) in the middle and 101 (DTV). Can I add another liner Ku-band LNB to get Galaxy 11 ? If yes, how may I fit the linear LNB on the same dish ?

Thank you

RTN is encrypted on G11 (according to lyngsat), but it is on C-band and it appears to me that you only have Ku band capability.

RTN should be in clear on Telstar 11 http://www.lyngsat.com/t11.html

What is there to confirm?

C-band frequencies are in 4 digit range and Ku frequencies are 5 digits.

RTN is at 4180V which is C-band and on top of it it is Digicipher II and not DVB so your dvb receiver cannot recieve it.

Thanks for explaining 4/5 digit range stuff.

I went to Lyngsat, but didn't see Digicipher II. Just a blank field in the encryption field.

Thanks

Sometimes with muxes (multiple channels on one transponder) the encryption is specified in the first row.

International Channel Network Digicipher 2 29270 - 7/8
