American TV Here you could discuss what is available as FTA American channels on satellite. No discussion of hacking encrypted channels or know how related to that matter is allowed. Yes, Telstar 11 (visible from most of the Eastern part of the USA) has 1 FTA Ukranian channel and 2 FTA Russian channels beamed at the USA. See http://www1.lyngsat.com/t11.html

These have been very popular lately and we have been getting a lot of inquiries about it.

Any of our systems will work. See http://sadoun.com/Sat/Order/Systems.htm

Enjoy!

The beam looks like it is aimed at NE part of the USA. I've heard people were able to receive it in New York. I am not sure what channels are aimed at the USA or what transponders. Lyngsat does not list anything aimed at the USA from that satellite. See the footprint below. You will need a UNIVERSAL LNBF to receive the signal from that satellite.

These are EIRP numbers. It gives you the strength of the beam. The higher the EIRP number the smaller the dish needed to receive the signal.

See table here: http://sadoun.com/Sat/Installation/Dish-Size.htm

It is in column labeled "SR - FEC SID - VPID". SR for that frequency is 3617.
