Greek FTA Channels

Hi. I'm interesting in recieving FTA Greek Channels & Radio. I live in NY on Long Island. I think that ANT is one of them -- no?

Where do I begin?
What system is appropriate for me?

Thanks in advance.

There are a couple - like MAD - on g10r - any fta receiver will work -
ANT may only be on DISH (high monthly fee and little customer service.)

Apparently ANT is on Telstra 12 and Video encryption is listed at "F". This means FTA right? Am I missing something? Will I be able to pick up other FTA Greek channels on other satellites with 1 dish? Would I need a motorized version?

There are 2 Greek channels on Galaxy 10 R, Alpha Internationa and Mad TV.
On Telstar 12 there is Antenna Satellite. This is just for KU band. C band has more options, but a big dish is needed(Mega Cosmos, ERT Sat and Channel 10)

Please define what a big dish would be? Diameter in inches please?

Are you saying that the two on Galaxy 10 R, Alpha Internationa and Mad TV and Ant on Telstar 12 can be viewed with a smaller avg dish in KU band.

But If I was to purchase a larger dish, that will pick up C band I can get Mega Cosmos, ERT Sat and Channel 10??

Sorry I'm so dense about this. Would I need a motorized system, or just plain old vanilla? What are the benefits or reasons for a motorized system?
