TV Cabo is encrypted so you willneed a subscription. There was a thread around here recently on subscribing to Hispasat stuff.

On other hand, according to lyngsat TV Cabo is not beamed to US so n metter how big the dish, you probably won't be able to get it.

Hispasat can be recived with a dish from 75 cm and more depending on your location. Hispasat 1 C does not cover a part of the West coast. the only Portoguese channel on Hispasat for Americas is SIC international bujt is encrypted most of the time. RTP internacional is on Pas 9, but you need at 6 feet dish or biegger to get it.
see coverage map here:

31" dish should be sufficient then. I can get it with 31" dish from chicago area and get 75+ signal and quality.

Hispanisat

I am able to pick up Hispanisat with a 80cm dish... the satellite seems to be pretty strong. I am in Atlanta Georgia, so the dish points almost due east.

I get all the transponders that are beamed to North America according to lyngsat. I'm not sure that TV Cabo is on any of those transponders and it is encrypted.

RTPi is changing location and can be picked up from AMC-4 KU at 101°, frequency 12169 MHZ SR=3003. Free-to-air of course.
