American TVHere you could discuss what is available as FTA American channels on satellite. No discussion of hacking encrypted channels or know how related to that matter is allowed. Discuss only channels that have been listed publicly on lyngsat. Non-public FTA channels should be discussed in the New Finds forum only.
Probably a simple question, but is Fox Sports World FTA? I have it now via Dish, but I'm thinking of switching to a cable (due to HDTV & Firewire issues) and then getting FSW via a new satellite I'm puting in for my (Chinese) mother-in-law.
My local cable doesn't have FSW (which is the reason I didn't take them).
Off topic, make sure your cable company has Firewire enabled box. I have DCT 6200 through Comcast and firewire is working, but you will need firmware 7.07 or higher.
