Looking for a channel

Hi,
I'm looking for a channel that carries the NY Yankee games. I have YES network with DTV but once a week they show the game on WB9 out of NY Metropolitan area.

I have the Sadoun motorized dish kit 2 with the 36" Fortec Star dish, Invacom QPH-031 LNBF & the DG-380 motor. I'm running "stationary" right now because I had a faulty shaft on the motor assembly. I'm presently looking at 123w

Anyone know what Sat/ transponder/channel I could lock in on that might get a WB9, MY9 (WOR) channel out of NY?

Thanks in advance.

WWOR channel 9 out of Secaucus is on AMC 3 at 87 degrees

AMC 3 at 87.0°W - LyngSat

You need to have C-band and a subscription. It may be on other satellites... but this is the first one I have found and I get all the Ku bands out there, and it is not on any FTA.

Thank you for your reply, Maybe after my part comes in for my motor, I'll get lucky. I saw on a old channel list that there was a "My9" or WOR out of Syracuse. If that station is still up, or one similar in the NY Metropolitan area, maybe I'll get lucky. We watched the updates on the computer (NYY site) last night against Boston. We needed that win.

Thanks again.

There is none

WNGS (that was on G18/G10) use to carry those games but since Equity went bankrupt and sold off all the stations, WNGS left a while back.

Thank you for your reply, Iceberg. When I get my motor hooked up, I'll try looking for something. Maybe I'll get lucky. Or maybe I'll find a "diehard" Yankee fan that has a solution.

Thanks again, Mrgrip
