American TVHere you could discuss what is available as FTA American channels on satellite. No discussion of hacking encrypted channels or know how related to that matter is allowed. Discuss only channels that have been listed publicly on lyngsat. Non-public FTA channels should be discussed in the New Finds forum only.
What would i have to do or what do i need to get ITALIAN....
live in north east US, what do i need to get Italian and dishnetowrk channels together, if possible? or any other way anyone could help with. have dish 500 installed, waiting for lifetime to become available again. can anyone tell me exactly what is needed to get both. thanks to all great site!
Hacking, who said anything about hacking? Im new to this and reading that you can get dishnetwork channels and Italian channels, wheather its a few or all I do not know. THATS WHY I AM ASKING SON!.

There are some Free to air Italian channels on Galaxy 10R (123 West). For those you will need an FTA receiver like the Lifetime or ULTRA, plus a 31" Dish, and a linear polarity KU LNBF. See the complete systems on our website at: http://sadoun.com/Sat/Order/Systems.htm
You can't get the Dish Network channels and FTA channels with one system.

Just a quick update folks. Italian and Greek and Arabic and Serbian channels no longer available on G10. Tarbs who was going to encrypt them and start service went out of business. The frequency on G10 11920 is empty.
If anybody wants free channels they will have to do C band on PAS 9. Or subscribe to Dishnetwork
