Thumbs up Montana PBS rocks!

I live in VA (and PA) but have become a huge fan of Montana PBS. For FTA folks, these folks have some of the best PBS programming around, and they DO NOT use Dolby AC3! I was able to set up a friend using a Traxis 3500 without any difficulty.

If you haven't tried them, they are up on
AMC 3 at 87.0°W (Ku band)

They also have a great web site:
MontanaPBS

Last, but not least, it's pledge week! I paid up a little while ago and have been getting their programming guide. Recording (does anyone "tape" any more) is building up a great library of concerts and programs for later.

Ditto

I got a licence plate holder for my donation. They even have a guy that will come to your house to help set up your satellite dish for free. Otherwise you can call him and he will walk through the steps with you on the phone. Talk about service.

Free installation help?

Did you get a chance to talk to this person? How far will they travel to help?

I'm getting into the habit of going through the programming guide for the month and recording programs for later. I'm on the east coast, so the 2 hour time difference works against me there.

Great programming though. They do a great job of making Montana look good!

Yes, over the phone. If you spring for his air ticket, I'm sure he will travel anywhere . Since Montana comes in weak for me, he offered to come to my house and help tweak it for more signal; but I informed him that I am in Florida, he retracted his offer.

Question

what happened to Montana PBS? I have the transponder, and it seems to have no signal. Does anyone know where they went? (not internet DVB I hope...)
