Unless you are running a circular C Band dish there is nothing there to see in the US except an occassional feed. I doubt you can see it from Texas but if so it will be very low on the horizon.

The odds of you getting it in Texas are next to 0. If you have a C Band dish set up for circular and want to try then I say go for it but unless you live with unobstructed sight for the length of your ability to see in the direction of the sat you will not receive it. The only thing I see available to you would be the Bolivian MUX or Samanyolu TV Amerika. Is this what you are trying to get?

Go to NSS 7 at 22.0°W - LyngSat and in the column labeled Beam click on the link next to the channels you desire. This will show you where they are available. All the African channels I see are Eastern Hemisphere which is Europe and Africa. Not available in the US at all.
