Perhaps someone can point out what I am doing wrong. I added an Ultra to my
C-band system. With the C-band dish on G11 I did a power scan which found transponders consistent with the LyngSat chart. I then did a channel scan which found channels on some transponders, but not all of them. (I scanned 'all+D', which I take to be somewhat more than all of the channels?) Notably, there was no WB on transponder 1, 3720 H. I have quality greater than 80% on that transponder, and a TP Scan also found no channels. Clearly something is there, but the Ultra can't find it. I use WB as an example, but the same was true for FOX E and W, and others.
Has anyone received these channels? Is there a way to "force" them if they don't scan in? What does it mean when there is a good signal on the transponder but no identified channel? Also, am I correct that if the top entry on a transponder is Digicipher 2 that all of the other channels in that transponder are scrambled too? Can only be picked up with a subscription to some program? What about when the top entry is DVB and the lower channels are marked Power Vu?
Thanks for the help, the Ultra manual seems to assume much more knowledge a beginner would have.
