I have never really understod what was going on up there with that stuff. Even some of these newer subdivision in Texas wont even let you put up a DSS 18" dish cause they say it looks tacky. Regardless I'm sure its all about money or Canada not receiving funds cause you have a dish at your place. Lucky I live in a older neighbor hood with few restrictions on dishes. The only realy rule is you cannot put a big dish in the front yard, you need a permits for a big dish, I guess so the city can take 35.00 from you and say that you grounded and mounted the dish properly, and any residential structure cannot exceed 12 feet from the peek of the roof. Other than this I just paid 250.00 to have some peacan tree cut so i could get a clear view. The Squirrels were pretty upset about that
