I am a DirecTV subsriber, but would like to setup an HTPC and was wondering if there is a PCI card that will allow me to receive my DirecTV service by using my existing smartcard? In other words, I would like to take the card out of my receiver and use it in the PCI card instead. Is this possible without doing anything illegal?
