Sure. FTA receivers (DiSEqC) use a 22 KHz tone to control the switch while DishNet receivers use a 21 KHz tone - the two are not compatible with one another.

I should clarify that post; you can use a DiSEqC switch for both LNBs if you are using one FTA DVB receiver connected to both LNBs. If you will be using a DishNetwork receiver and a FTA receiver then you cannot use the DiSEqC switch. Sorry to mislead you.
