This is actually a "bug" of 786v3 USALS feature. The Diseqc 1.3 of the 786v3 is not designed for N.American users. If you looks at the Long, it's always East. I have not spent much time to test the 786v3 Diseqc 1.3, but here is a trick which might get this feature work:
Long of East = 360 - long of West.
Example: if your longtitude is 123W, use 237E instead.
I can't confirm if this trick works, but it's worth a try.
I program all the sat locations using Diseqc 1.2. I am extreamly happy with the 786v3. It's been on 24/24 for more than year, still running strong.
