Here is what I think: you might consider put up a DirectTv dish for your
DTV receiver. The motorized dish is dedicated for Bell/DishNet and other Ku linear. The reason is you can't get both linear and circular at the same time from your motorized dish. There is another way to get arround using "slaving approach" for your DirectTV receiver, but it will be a bit complicated to set up and to operate.
So, the easiest way is to put another 18" dish for your DTV.

Now, I've added a FTA system. Instead of having two dishes, I have one 30 " dish with both the Linear LNB and DSS LNB connected (strapped on to the West side of the linear LNB) by adjusting the dish manually I can receive both Ku Linear and Dishnet/Bell FTA signals. Works great but I have to manually point the dish to hit the bird I want to receive and swap cables on the LNB.
Now that I am adding the motor, it gets a little confusing. Where does the switch go? Before the receiver? or just before the LNB and after the motor?
I still want to keep my multiswitch setup so I can still use my DTV setup on any TV in the house. The FTA system will be limited to one TV set.
The more I think about it, it looks like I need to install a 2nd dish just for 101...
