I hope this is the right forum. I'm trying to hit one of the Echostar birds at 110 or 119 with my Nexus-S and 18"
DTV dish with no luck. If I want FTA & Echostar which dish should I get to replace the 18"? Torroidal? 90cm? I'd prefer to use the existing DTV mast on the side of my house but I'm not sure it'll hold a larger dish like 90cm + motor. I have a window of opportunity about 220o to 300o SW. Is that enough to give me a good selection of satellites? I'd prefer to avoid the hassle & expense but I could put a chimney mount on my roof if that's the only option. Can I control a motor from the Nexus or do I need a separate controller? Will this work for me:
