Hi Heather
Sorry to hear you cancelled your Dish Network subscription. In fact you will not be able to use your PVR receiver without a subscription and you can't use it with regular cable.
My suggestion would be to re-subscribe again to Dish Network regardless of the contract dispute ( you might want to talk to their customer retention department).
