The mast is level and plumb and we reviewed/used your video to set it all up; it was very helpful. My Level of signal is pretty good, about 71-73%, but No Quality of signal At All. I'm surburb east of KCMO- my Long. is -94.32; Lat. 39.3. Any suggestions on how I may get Quality signal to then be able to Search for/find the true fta satelites 123W or 97W (or others)? Also, does cloudy weather effect this? Any help or guidedance will be very much appreciated by this True FTA Rookie! Thanking you in advance for your assistance and have a good day!...twobears
Have you checked your true south first.
By the coordinates you provide your true south is Galaxy 3C located at 95°W.
Have you checked the frequency of your linear LNB. You don't specify what brand you use but your comment leads me to believe you are using an invacom QPH031. If that is the case the frequency is 10750 on your receiver.
Make sure the LNB is set for 0° SKEW as assembled on the LNB holder.
SKEW is critical for linear applications.
Do not expect to receive strong signals. There are a few exceptions, but everything on linear averages 60% quality.
Enter your coordinates on USALS while your antenna is parked at the reference point, the USALS will calculate how much to move in reference to the other satellites degrees.
