is your receiver tuned to an ACTIVE TRANSPONDER while looking for G3C?
if so - can you tell me what is that transponder frequency?
And - you cannot "hold the dish" in your hands.
When you find the signal just pushing on the dish with a finger will cause the signal quality to go away.
The
aiming spot is very very small. It is very easy to miss - and make you think that your equipment is faulty when it is really OK.
