2 Fixed Dishes, different sats w/ Fortec Star 786v3/NA?

Hello,

I will be getting a Fortec Star 786v3 (or NA?) as a gift from my
girlfriend. (It was off of eBay, so I don't think it was from Sadoun )

I was wondering if it is possible to have 2 dishes fixed on 2 different
satellites (T5 w/ a Fortec Star 80cm dish and probably SBS6 w/ a Primestar dish) and use an A/B switch to select between the two sats.
I know the A/B switch works, as I had used it on a non-plus DTV reciver
to get the 119* sat. How would the 786v3 react to that sudden a change
in signal? Would it "auto-detect" SBS6 if switched from T5?

ALSO.... I am extremely bad at math, but I have been able to install several DTV dishes (for myself and others). I was wondering, living in
the Los Angeles area, what satellite should I point a dish to if I'm using
a STAB motor (for FTA Ku), so that I can receive as much of the arc as possible? I can figure it out fairly easy, once I find out what sat I should look at (because my dish(es) will all be near a DTV dish, so I can estimate based off that where the dish new should point).

Thank You!
Adam
