The problem I'm having with the Ultra concerns setting up G0
Cband and Ku band. The receiver lists both. I have used the advanced scan to get the outdoor channel east & west on the "C" side, and the powerscan on the Ku side to get all the others. The problem is when I view the outdoor channel and then switch to the other channels, there is no signal, and the same the other way around. Then I have to mess around with all the antenna settings to get them back. Sometimes if I turn the LNB power off and back on it works (until the next time), other times I change the LNB type or turn on the
DiSEqC switch and this works.
I thought that the DiSEqC switch took care of the C/Ku switching. I guess I'm very confused.
If anyone could step me through this, I would be grateful. I am slaving the Ultra off a 4DTV using 2 HF splitters and a DiCEqc switch.
