I picked up several Winegard DS-2077 (30 inch) dishes a few months back to reduce 129 dropouts and better tolerate rain fade. This model takes Dish LNBFs without modifications. The included mount and pole is similar to a
Dish 500, but bigger and beefier. I did a number of signal level comparisons between my old Dish 500s and the 30 inchers during heavy downpours and found that when the little dishes were giving up the ghost, the big dishes were still delivering as much signal as the little ones were when skies are clear. Highly recommended.
