I currently use Dish Network and have 2 satellite dishes, 1 for local and 1 for Int'l programming. I have one cable coming into the house from the 2 dishes which then plugs into a Dish Network switch that has 2 outputs, Satellite 1 and Sat 2. 2 short cables go from these outputs into the Dish receiver.
The Fortec receiver that I bought has the following equipment:
The receiver, 2 2x Diseqc switches, and 1 null modem cable.
On the Diseqc switches it has 4 inputs labeled Satellite 1-4 and then 1 output. The Fortec receiver has the following connections: IF Input, IF Output, Ant In, & Ant Out. I plugged the cable coming from the satellite dish into my house into the port labeled IF Input. Any channel that I go to, I get the following errors : "No Signal" / "Scrambled or Bad Channel".
I'd really appreciate it if someone could walk me through setting up the receiver or if there is an existing guide, send me the link.

Be advised that none of the Fortec receivers are approved and/or supported by Dishnetwork.
You can use that Fortec receiver for FTA using a 76cm satellite Ku dish to receive G18, or
G25 and for even for more fun buy your self a 6 footer for
C band reception.
