I too am not an installer and just over a year ago I chose a
Super Buddy and certainly have not been disappointed. Does everything I want and more. Very easy to use. No more climbing ladders to check switches, etc. You can print out 'Proof of Performance' sheet for sats that show all transponders received with signal/quality readings, etc. Was surprised recently when local installer told me he is happy he bought one after seeing mine in operation. Highly recommended for educational purposes too. Previous 'get-by' meters not worth the bother.
