I have a an old 1995
C-Band dish which was used to watch the
g14 sattelite. It stopped moving for a while so I bought a new positioner and LNB from
Sadoun and installed it, and it started moving although it wouldn't move to the West after a certain point like it used to do. I used to get the error "ACTUATOR ERROR" always, but now it is only when surpassing a certain limit of going West usually at about 5300.
My problem is that I need to program my CBAND to get g14 again. I have no clue how to do that. I know G14 is at 125.0 degrees W or about 3800 H, but I don't know how to program that.
I have a Uniden "Video Cipher II Plus" reciever descrambler equipped UST-44000 super. My box that we just bought from Sadoun, and I have no clue what it does, is a "GBOX."
My uniden reciever only has the following options on it: East, West, Channel, Fav., and "call." When I go to "call" to change sattelites to the G14, I don't know how to get it to go to the new and current coordinates. It only has a E-W number that begins with about 1000 and ends with 5400.
